Stellar Beans in Lake Charles

Absolutly the best place in LC to get coffee. The staff is always friendly and willing to make whatever you like however you like!! They also serve cooked food that is delicious! The place is very cozzie and quaint with free Wi-Fi, couches and a TV to watch. I NEVER give five stars but this place well deserves it!!!

Great atmosphere great coffee great food but the wifi was a little spotty

We ordered the Stellar beans iced coffee and an iced vanilla latte and really enjoyed both. Great atmosphere and large space to work or visit with friends. Really like the Star Wars themed branding everywhere.

It's nice to have a mom and pop coffee shop around. The coffee is wholesome and well made, staff are usually chipper and nice.

I was passing through Lake charles from Beaumont and I needed a quick caffeine rain. So I looked for the "best coffee house" in lake charles and stellar did not disappoint. Its located in downtown LC. My barista was Caitlyn and she was full of life. She recommend the snickerdoodle (?) For my latte. It was great. Had also the chocolate muffin which complemented the whole coffee experience. Atmosphere is very inviting. Service was fast. Caitlyn is very knowledgeable. Come visit Stellar.

Every time I go, I see the a very intimate environment where everyone knows your name and your usual drink. The sandwiches are always tasty. Ask for one to be "made with love," as they are the best. The coffee is strong and good. Expect to be awake at the end of a good cup. It is the place to get coffee. Skip Starbucks and enjoy one of Downtown's best kept secrets.

Quaint little place we found on our way driving through town. There was a live musician on a Sunday morning and he was really good. The coffee was excellent. Much better than Starbucks. Robust and full flavored. The breakfast options were pretty good too. Not mind blowing, but they did the job of complimenting the coffee properly. One of the waitresses was short with us a couple of times, but it seemed like she was stressed and having a bad day, so didn't want to dock the star review. All in all, cool place.

Always excellent service and plenty of options. They serve breakfast and lunch as well. This is a wonderful place to hang out with friends, read, play board games, or just relax on your own. There's art on the walls from local artists and frequent live music, poetry, etc. It's where art and coffee collide!

Friendly staff and "okay" prices. Apparently change hours based on seasons, which while understandable for labor, is also a bother to some of their more frequent patrons.

This place is great; however, the service lacks speed. I was done with my pastry by the time our coffee came out 12 minutes later. We waited in line for 15 minutes with only 6 ppl ahead of us. Zero sense of urgency.

Stellar Beans is a Lake Charles tradition. Not only are the coffee and treats great, they’ve made their space part of the fabric of downtown, letting a variety of groups host events aimed towards community enrichment. Shop local!

First time there. Coffee was really good. Building was very clean and neat. Very different atmosphere than Starbucks or other places we have been. Would go back.

An 'old school' coffee shop, which is a positive compared to a colder modern style place. They have house brews of coffee and tea, fresh muffins and similar pastries. The walls feature diverse local art and live music is hosted on a scheduled basis. Good spot!

Space themed coffee shop with a unique vibe. All dishware was handmade by a local artist, and they sell his pottery and the work of other local artists as well. Had a delicious vanilla chai.

We loved our first visit here! We weren’t feeling coffee, so we got some Italian sodas with cream to go with our English muffins with eggs, bacon, and cheese. Sandwiches were scrumptious and the sodas were yummy. We also had a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese that was very good. Overall atmosphere was perfect for a small coffee shop....the live music was a cool plus too!

I do not like it, but they get a 5* for service. I feel I can make better coffee at my house.
